18K gold price Singapore
18K gold contains 75% gold and is commonly marked 750. That means its underlying metal value can be estimated by taking the current pure-gold value per gram and multiplying it by 0.75.
Current 18K / 750 gold value
| Gold purity | Approx. karat | Reference value (SGD/g) |
|---|---|---|
| Pure gold | 24K | 187.70 |
| 750 | 18K | 140.77 |
These figures estimate the value of the gold itself. They are not guaranteed retail prices or buy-back offers.
This is an estimate of the gold content, not the final price of an 18K jewellery item.
What does 18K mean?
The karat system measures gold purity out of 24 parts. 18 out of 24 equals 18 ÷ 24 = 0.75, or 75% gold. The corresponding fineness mark is commonly 750.
Is 18K the same as 750 gold?
They describe the same basic purity level using different measurement systems. 18K = 18 parts gold out of 24. 750 = 750 parts gold out of 1,000.
How do you calculate the value?
Use: weight × 0.75 × current pure-gold value per gram. So for 10g of 18K gold: 10 × 0.75 × live pure-gold reference. Try it yourself with the calculator below.

This estimate reflects the underlying gold content. Actual dealer offers can differ based on product type, testing, condition, resale demand and dealer margin.
Why does 18K jewellery cost more?
Because the item is a finished piece of jewellery. The price may also include alloying/manufacture, workmanship, stones, design, retail margin and GST. The underlying gold value is therefore a benchmark, not a retail price.
What happens when you sell 18K gold?
A buyer will usually be interested in the recoverable gold content. Your original jewellery price doesn't automatically carry through into the buy-back offer. The buyer may assess weight, fineness, stones/non-gold components, refining and its buying spread.
