Gold Price Alerts Singapore
Get a WhatsApp notification the moment the Singapore gold reference price crosses a threshold you choose. You decide the target, the unit and the direction — we notify you when the market state is reached.
Gold Singapore provides factual gold-price information and price-state notifications. Alerts describe when the reference price crosses a threshold you choose. They do not constitute financial advice, a trading signal, or a recommendation to buy or sell.
How do SGD gold alerts work?
You set a target price in SGD per gram or SGD per troy ounce, choose a purity (or the pure-gold reference), and choose whether you want to be notified when the price rises above or falls below that target. Gold Singapore watches the central reference feed and sends you a WhatsApp message the moment the price crosses your threshold.
An alert fires only on a genuine crossing — not repeatedly while the price simply remains above or below your target. After firing, you can re-arm the same alert so it can trigger again on the next crossing.
How current are the alerts?
Alerts are evaluated against the same central Singapore gold reference feed that powers the live price on the homepage. Every notification includes the observation timestamp and the data source so you can see exactly when the price was last verified.
If the live feed cannot be verified, alerts are paused rather than triggered using stale or substituted data. They resume automatically once a live reference is confirmed again.
Why can dealer prices differ from the reference?
The reference price reflects the underlying gold value. A physical gold bar or coin from a dealer includes additional costs such as fabrication, assaying, packaging and the dealer's margin. Jewellery can add workmanship, design and GST. So the price you pay or receive in a real transaction can differ from the reference value an alert is based on.
Use alerts as a price-state signal. When an alert fires, compare actual dealer quotes using the Deal Analyzer or the dealer comparison table before transacting.
Reference alerts vs transaction prices
An alert tells you the reference price reached your target. It does not tell you what a specific dealer will charge or pay at that moment. Dealer selling prices, buy-back prices and spreads move with the market but also reflect product-specific factors. Treat the alert as a prompt to check current offers, not as a transaction price.
What an alert is not
Gold Singapore alerts are price-state notifications only. They are not a trading signal, a recommendation to buy or sell, or personalised financial advice. The decision to act on a price movement is always yours.
