Reference values reflect underlying gold content only. Dealer premiums, spreads and buy-back terms vary by product and are currently on-request. Where a dealer exposes tiered pricing (quantity, customer or loyalty tiers), comparisons default to the standard public single-unit price, never rank a dealer as “cheapest” based on a special price tier unless every compared record uses an equivalent basis. How we compare.
Which format has the lower acquisition overhead?
The reference value per gram is identical across formats, it reflects only the gold content. The real difference in acquisition overhead comes from the dealer premium applied on top, which tends to be higher per gram for smaller bars and lower for larger bars.
A 1g minted bar and a 1kg cast bar contain gold worth the same per gram here. Which has the lower acquisition overhead depends on the dealer premium for each product, compare actual dealer quotes to decide.
