Gold Trading Platforms in Singapore Compared
Which platforms offer which gold access?
Gold trading platforms do not all provide the same product. One may offer leveraged XAU/USD CFDs, another may provide exchange-traded futures or ETFs, and charting software may provide analysis without executing trades. Gold compares platforms by verified Singapore availability, product access, regulatory entity, published costs and platform features rather than by commercial relationship.
Main comparison
Platforms are listed in neutral alphabetical order. A product capability is shown only where instrument availability is currently verified from the provider's Singapore primary source. Where availability is unverified, the cell reads Unavailable — it is never inferred from the entity's regulatory licence, and an unknown fee is never treated as zero.
| Platform | Singapore entity / regulatory status | XAU/USD / CFD | Futures | Options | ETF access | Demo | Published cost info | Last verified |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CMC Markets | CMC Markets Singapore Pte Ltd Appears in MAS Financial Institutions Directory — exact licence/activity wording to be reverified | Unavailable | Unavailable | Unavailable | Unavailable | Unavailable | Unavailable | Pending |
| IG | IG Asia Pte Ltd Appears in MAS Financial Institutions Directory — exact licence/activity wording to be reverified | Unavailable | Unavailable | Unavailable | Unavailable | Unavailable | Unavailable | Pending |
| OANDA | OANDA Asia Pacific Pte Ltd Appears in MAS Financial Institutions Directory — exact licence/activity wording to be reverified | Unavailable | Unavailable | Unavailable | Unavailable | Unavailable | Unavailable | Pending |
| Saxo | Saxo Capital Markets Pte Ltd Appears in MAS Financial Institutions Directory — exact licence/activity wording to be reverified | Unavailable | Unavailable | Unavailable | Unavailable | Unavailable | Unavailable | Pending |
Regulatory entity names reflect current research indicating Singapore regulated entities exist for these providers. Exact MAS licence/activity wording must be reverified from the MAS Financial Institutions Directory before publication — hence Partially verified. MAS directory presence does not establish that a particular gold product is currently available, that a provider is endorsed, or that a platform is risk-free.
Regulatory display — what MAS listing means
A provider may appear in the MAS Financial Institutions Directory. That is regulatory metadata only. It does not mean the provider is “MAS-approved” in the sense of endorsement, and it does not mean a particular gold product is currently available to Singapore residents. Gold uses factual wording such as: [Entity] appears in the MAS Financial Institutions Directory; exact licence/activity wording verified [date]. Never “MAS approved.”
Cost comparison
Costs are compared only where definitions are genuinely comparable: published spread basis, commission, overnight financing, FX conversion, and exchange fees. Gold does not create a simplistic “cheapest” ranking unless the calculation includes equivalent instrument, trade size, holding period, currency and account type. An unknown fee is never treated as zero. See gold trading costs for the cross-instrument cost framework.
Ordering
Default platform order is neutral and alphabetical. Gold does not use “#1”, “best”, “recommended” or “our pick”. Affiliate status can never alter ordering.
Commercial relationships
No affiliate relationships are active in this batch. When affiliates are active, Gold will display a concise disclosure: Gold may receive compensation if you open or fund an account through certain links. Commercial relationships do not determine which platforms are included or how factual comparisons are calculated. Affiliate CTAs will read “Visit platform” — never “Open the best account.”
Analysis & charting tools
TradingView is charting/market-analysis infrastructure and may support broker integrations, but it is not a broker and not the underlying gold investment. It is listed separately below, not in the broker table above.
Platform-specific profile pages
Gold does not yet publish individual platform profile pages (e.g. /dealers/ig). The comparison page and query demand are being proven first. Platform profiles become a later batch if warranted.
Gold provides gold-price information, educational content and comparison tools. It is not a dealer and does not provide personalised financial advice. This information is general in nature and does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Leverage is not recommended.
Common questions
Which platforms let Singapore users trade gold?
Availability depends on the platform and the instruments it offers to Singapore residents. Gold lists candidate platforms with verified Singapore availability and product access — see the table above. Confirm current platform and regulatory context before trading.
Can I trade XAU/USD in Singapore?
XAU/USD exposure may be available through some platforms, often via CFDs or other OTC products. The exact product structure depends on the provider. See XAU/USD explained.
Which platforms offer gold CFDs?
CFD availability is shown only where verified from the provider's Singapore source. Where unverified, the cell reads Unavailable — it is not inferred from licence status.
Which platforms offer gold futures?
Futures availability is shown only where verified from the provider's Singapore source. See gold futures explained.
Is TradingView a broker?
No. TradingView is charting/market-analysis software. It may support broker integrations, but it is not a broker and not the underlying gold investment. See TradingView for Gold.
What should I compare in a gold trading platform?
Singapore availability, relevant regulatory entity/status, instrument offered, published costs, leverage/margin mechanics, platform/charting, funding currency, demo environment where available, and withdrawal/funding considerations.
Is a MAS-listed platform risk-free?
No. MAS directory presence is regulatory metadata only. It does not mean a platform is endorsed, risk-free, or that a particular gold product is available.
Are all gold trading platforms the same?
No. One may offer leveraged XAU/USD CFDs, another exchange-traded futures or ETFs, and charting software may provide analysis without executing trades. They differ in product, structure, costs and counterparty exposure.
Does Gold rank affiliate partners higher?
No. Commercial relationships cannot determine which platforms are included or how factual comparisons are calculated. Default ordering is neutral and alphabetical.
What costs should I check before opening a gold trade?
Published spread basis, commission, overnight financing, FX conversion, and exchange fees where relevant. Margin is collateral, not a fee. See gold trading costs.
